Danone is a French multinational in the food industry. Its headquarter is located in Paris, and the company was founded in Barcelona. Danone is specialized in dairy products, yogurt, bottled water and medical nutrition. Danone reported a revenue of over €22 billion in 2015. Danone’s activities are separated into four groups: fresh dairy, water, baby food and medical nutrition. Fresh dairy is the main source of income with 50% of the revenue, followed by food with 30% of the revenue, and at last, one fifth of the revenue is realized with the sale of water. The company is active all over the world, and 40% of the revenue is realized in Europe. France is their biggest sales market after the United States.
The first step when applying with Danone is replying to the vacancy online. Here you will be asked to provide your CV and your motivational letter. You can also link your LinkedIn account. If Danone thinks that your profile seems like a fit for the vacancy, you will usually be asked to do dome online tests. These tests are provided by assessment publisher CEB/Gartner (SHL).
If the previous steps where a success, you will usually be invited for a first interview. Following this, you will be invited to an assessment center if the interview had a positive result. In this assessment center, you will perform several tasks and activities during one or two days. You will be asked to retake the previous online tests, conduct some more interviews, and do a group assignment. If all goes well you will receive an offer after this.
