Application Process

When applying at Toyota, you must fill in a basic online application form. In this form, you are asked to upload a CV and give basic details, previous experience and academic history. After this Toyota will take your application into consideration, and usually contact you via phone to perform a basic phone screening.

Depending on the position you applied for you can be asked to complete multiple tests, like situational judgement tests, mechanical reasoning tests and personality tests.

When these tests were successful, Toyota usually invites candidates for a day at the Toyota Assessment Centre. Here you will perform several activities depending on the position you applied for. Some of these activities will be group exercises.

During a group exercise, you will usually be presented with a brief about a case, and you will be asked to come up with a plan of action or to solve a problem. This case related to the job you are applying for. Thereafter you will present your findings and recommendations to the Toyota assessors.
