Highly recommended! I bought the 'All Tests Package' for two months in a row. I also purchased practice material from other websites and my experience with Assessment-Training was that they proved to be of higher quality than the others. I would definitely recommend it to everyone. Marieke from the support team was very kind and helpful.

What is an assessment?

The term assessment refers to the process of documenting, usually in measurable terms, knowledge, skill, attitudes, and beliefs. Career assessments are tools that are designed to measure how a variety of potential attributes, such as interests, preferences, values, motivations, aptitudes, and skills, impact a person's potential success and satisfaction with different career options and work environments.
An assessment can consist of aptitude tests, behavioral tests, or assessment centers and is usually part of a pre-employment test.
There are multiple terms used in the market for the process of screening and testing people. Terms commonly used are a pre-employment test, assessment exam, pre-hiring test, job applicant test, or aptitude tests. Their meaning is more or less the same and are all concerned with testing people for a specific goal which is in most cases a potential job.

How does an assessment work?

Assessments can take place at the employer’s offices, or in a private assessment center and are used to measure an applicant’s true capabilities and characteristics. By helping companies identify the candidates that will most likely perform well on the job, these tests can lead to additional business benefits.
Almost all assessments need to be completed within a specific time range. Once you start your assessment you have limited time to answer all the questions. This is why it is very important to practice the specific assessment components to pass your assessment successfully within the given time range.

What are the most common elements used in assessments?

The most common elements include intelligence tests, personality questionnaires, interviews, practical assignments, role-plays, and simulation exercises. Intelligence tests and interviews are mostly used during assessments.
